Tumbleberry named a top new college for outdoor learning

Tumbleberry University has been named one of the top new colleges for outdoor and experiential learning by a national college guide, just two years after welcoming its first students.
The guide pointed to the First-Year Trail Seminar, which takes every new student into the field in their first semester, the Field Semester at Evergreen Field Station and the university's guarantee of a paid internship for every junior.
"We built Tumbleberry around the idea that you learn best by doing," said Provost Dr. James Whitfield. "It is gratifying to see that recognized."
