First alumni Homecoming draws more than 1,100 to campus

Members of the Class of 2026 tossing their caps in celebration

Tumbleberry celebrated its first Homecoming with alumni on October 9 through 11, and more than 1,100 graduates, families and friends came back to Tumble Falls for the weekend.

The weekend opened with the Summit Sunrise hike, led this year by members of the Class of 2026 who first made the climb as first-year students at Bear Camp. Saturday brought a farm-to-table lunch on the central lawn and a sold-out crowd at Bear Field, where the women's soccer team beat Cascade State 2-1.

"Two years ago these were our first students," said President Dr. Sofia Lindqvist. "Seeing them come home as alumni, already mentoring our current Bears, tells me the tradition is in good hands."

Alumni can update their contact information and find upcoming regional events on the Alumni and Friends page.
